Ala’ I. Abu Lail is the Scientific Research, Innovation and Cultural Grants Director at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF). As a passionate and strong advocate for entrepreneurship, innovation and design thinking methods, Ala’ has actively participated as spokesperson, evaluator, mentor and trainer in many initiatives and programs.
During the past few years, Ala’ consulted on various projects where her portfolio includes innovation and entrepreneurship, education, training, financial solutions, and project management with several national and international organisations.
She received her BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology. While an undergraduate student, Ala’ performed two consecutive summer research-focused internships at Washington State University.
Her passion and motivation emanate from a life-long obsession with creativity. Ala’ is constantly exploring various disciplines to broaden her knowledge and expertise.
